10th Romsey Scouts and their guests braved the elements to plant an Oak tree on Sunday 4th March to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The tree which was donated by the Woodland Trust came from the Queen’s Royal Estates, it was planted by Beavers, Cubs and Scouts at 10th Romsey’s Braishfield Road headquarters. The Scouts were joined by Romsey Town Mayor Cllr John Burgess, Cllr Teresa Hibberd Chairman Romsey Extra Parish Council, members of Romsey Extra Parish Council and outgoing Romsey Scouts District Commissioner Darren Reed.
