At 10th Romsey Scouts, we’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the magic of Scouting to life for young people aged 4 to 18. Whether you’ve got experience or just a willingness to get stuck in, there’s a place for you in our Sections – from Squirrels to Explorers

It’s more than just volunteering – it’s making a difference.
Each week, our volunteers help young people gain skills for life through fun, games, outdoor adventures, and creative activities. You could be welcoming young people and their families, helping plan exciting sessions, leading campfire singalongs, or celebrating those little wins that mean the world. From coding to canoeing, cake decorating to hiking – we all learn and grow together.

Don’t have time every week? No problem.
Volunteering with us is flexible and fits around your life. Whether you’re keen to pitch in regularly or just help when you can, we’ll support you every step of the way – with guidance, training and yes, plenty of tea. You don’t even need to work directly with young people. There are loads of ways to help behind the scenes too, from admin and fundraising to making sure the meeting place is warm, welcoming and well-stocked with biscuits.

Make friends, gain skills, and feel good.
Volunteering can boost your mental wellbeing, connect you with your community, and even help you pick up new skills. It’s a great way to challenge yourself, meet like-minded people, and create memories that last a lifetime.
